In an interview in early 2021, Braxtonwho referred to her ex-husband as a was-bandclaimed he had no contact with his kids and hadnt seen his daughter in three years. After some while, the sisters decided to form a band and named it The Braxtons. As a result, the band released several music videos like So Many Ways and Only Love. Besides music, Towanda also made her name in the Television world, appearing in the WE TV series Braxton Family Values in 2011.
